Vocabyss is a vocabulary game for personal learning. You may install and use it for that purpose, subject to the rules of the store you got it from (Google Play). Please do not use the app to break the law or to disrupt the service for others.
The word lists, translations, example sentences, art and sounds bundled in the app are licensed to you for use inside the app only. Third-party data and open assets are listed, with their licences, under Credits in the app. Do not extract the bundled packs and redistribute them as a separate product.
Translations and examples are produced with care but can contain mistakes. If you spot one, the in-app report button sends it to us.
The whole course is free to play. The free version shows ads. Pro is an optional purchase that removes ads and adds extras described on the Pro screen. Purchases and subscriptions are processed by Google Play under its terms; manage or cancel a subscription in Google Play, and ask Google Play about refunds.
Gold, outfits and other in-game items have no cash value and cannot be exchanged for money.
Vocabyss is in beta. Features, balance and prices may change, and things may occasionally break. Your progress is stored on your phone; keep your device backup on if you want to carry it to a new phone.
The app is provided "as is", without warranties of any kind, to the extent the law allows. We are not liable for indirect or consequential losses arising from its use. Nothing in these terms limits rights you have under the consumer law of your country.
We may update these terms; the date above shows the current version. Continuing to use the app after a change means you accept the new terms.
